History

There are records of Linton Brook Farm going back as far as the 13th century.

The current building is 17th century and retains some interesting architectural features.

In the east wall you will see two surviving 17th century windows.  These were blocked up when the bread oven and chimney were inserted in the basement.

In the grounds you can see what is reputed to be the largest small leaved lime tree in Herefordshire.

A small brook runs down through the grounds beside the house.  At a higher level, above the farmhouse you can still see two 19th century hydraulic rams.  One still retains its original brick built ram house.
